2. Listen to your body

Nobody can become a bodybuilder in one day. It requires a lot of time and patience. In the same way, do not try to exaggerate your body while doing yoga poses or asanas. It is important that you listen to your body. If you feel pain, it’s time for a break. This break is important also because yoga can engage muscles and body parts which were never used to exercise.

3. Wear loose and comfortable clothing

Yoga involves several movements and stretches. Wearing stretchy and loose clothes will ensure that you don’t feel uncomfortable while doing it. When you start practicing yoga, you will yourself become aware of clothes that are best for you.

4. Stay hydrated

5. Go for bare feet if possible

Try doing yoga with bare feet as it will help you balance your body and ensure smooth moves. If you feel uncomfortable with bare feet then you can go with yoga socks.

6. Eat a light meal

Avoid heavy meals just before starting a yoga session. Try to eat a light meal and that too a couple of hours before the session. After the session, you should eat a healthy meal.

7. Practice little and often

In the beginning, it might be exhausting and overwhelming to deal with languages and poses. Therefore, it is advised to practice in small and regular intervals which will help you build your stamina and increase your skills.
